BetterClaimSOL Privacy Policy

1. Data Collection and Use

We collect as little as the service can run on. We never ask for your name, email address or any other directly identifying detail, and we never have access to your private keys or seed phrase. The data we do handle is:

• Public Blockchain Data: When you use BetterClaimSOL, you authorize transactions on the Solana blockchain to close unused accounts and reclaim your SOL. These transaction IDs are publicly available on the blockchain and are displayed on our website in real-time for your convenience.
• Wallet Address: To sign in, your wallet signs a short message proving you control it. We store your wallet address alongside the claims you have made, your referral code and your referral earnings, so we can show you your own history and pay referrals correctly.
• Session and Network Data: From your first visit — before and whether or not you connect a wallet — we record a session, and with it your IP address, your network block, and a keyed hash of your browser's user-agent string. If you then sign in with a wallet, we additionally record that this wallet was seen from that address. We use this to detect abuse and, in particular, to identify one person operating many wallets to farm the referral programme, which takes rewards from genuine referrers.
• Cookies for Referral Codes: We use cookies to assign you a unique referral code. This cookie is stored locally on your device and is used only to track referrals.
• Local Storage: We store a session token in your browser so you stay signed in between visits. Clearing your browser storage signs you out.

An IP address is personal data, and we treat it as such: it is held only for as long as section 3 says, it is never sold or used for advertising, and you can ask us to delete it.

2. No Data Sharing or Selling

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for advertising or profiling. We disclose data only to the infrastructure providers needed to run the service — our hosting, database and Solana RPC providers — and where we are legally required to.

3. Retention and Your Control

Session records, including IP addresses, are deleted automatically 90 days after they were last used. Claim and referral records are kept for as long as the referral programme needs them to remain accurate.

You may delete any cookies and clear your browser storage at any time, which removes your referral-code tracking and signs you out. To ask what we hold about a wallet address, or to have it deleted, contact us at the address below.

4. Security

BetterClaimSOL takes precautions to protect your data and ensures secure handling of all blockchain transactions. However, as blockchain data is public, transaction details may be accessible to anyone on the blockchain.

5. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically, we will update the effective date and inform users directly on our website.
